Ingredients
- 4 cups pasteurized apple cider
- 6 cloves
- 5 allspice berries
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
Directions
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the cider, cloves, allspice, cinnamon stick, ginger, orange slices, and 1 tablespoon of the honey. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Strain into mugs. Taste and add the remaining tablespoon of honey if necessary.
