Helps with these side effects: Sore mouth, difficulty swallowing and unintentional weight loss

This quick and comforting dessert becomes mousse-like when whipped topping is folded into the pudding. You can also prepare it with pudding only and cover with a layer of whipped topping.

If you are trying to gain weight, choose the full-fat version versions of the milk and whipped topping. If weight gain has been a problem, choose reduced-fat or fat-free ingredients.

The number of wafers and amount of whipped topping needed will depend on the size of your serving bowl. After sitting, the wafers soften, making this dessert especially good for a sore mouth or sore throat.

Before making drastic changes to your diet, be sure to talk with your care team or nutritionist. While these recipes may relieve common symptoms, your treatment plan may include following a specific diet. If you have questions about what’s safe to eat or drink, your care team is ready to help.
